‘I Can Feel Your Power’

I woke up one morning after such vivid dreams through the night, with an underlying warmth and a huge feeling that I wanted to say ‘ thank you ‘.  At this stage I was not sure sure what the ‘ thank you’ was fully about.

So I took up my pen and notepad, sat in a comfortable and ambient place in my home,  then let my pen go free with my imagination to see what may come out of me.    The words sort of wrote themselves, I was just the resource, almost like the medium.

Going through such extreme situations in life, losing your closest loved one’s, feeling unbearable pain,  and yet finding a way back in to life with love and support once again, will create uncanny emotions that can be overwhelming.

But you know what, the words and the message that came through me was of happiness and gratitude.  Happiness to have loved someone on this earth for the time we had together, to have shared a life, to have the memories, to have had the pleasure to have loved and been a part in their life.

And then happiness and gratitude to have someone love me again, for another chance in life.    Living in this world is about loving, respecting each other and life around us.  Life can be hard and questionable at times.  But I would like to say ‘thank you’ for letting me be a part of this world and for the beautiful times that help to balance the times we question, falter, fall down.

verse 1
I want to say ‘thank you’ for the world in which we live.
I want to say ‘thanks’ for sharing all the love you have to give.
But there are times when I wonder, how to play my part,
But then, I feel you in my heart.

verse 2
I want to say ‘thank you’ for the time you came in to my life.
I want to say ‘thanks’ for the answers to all my questions why.
There’s a light shining deep within me, I knew it right from the start,
It was ‘you’ , my darling, in my heart.

chorus
I can feel your power,
I can see the light in you.
All the times I’ve been searching,
You’ve been searching for me, too.
Somehow in the distance I’ll find out where you’ll be.
I know you are waiting, waiting there for me.

verse 3
I can feel your spirit standing there by me.
I can see you shining for all the world to see.
But there are times I know I falter,
The pain just tears me apart.
But then I feel this love inside me, from your heart.
